BiOWiSH® organisms only remain in the soil for a short period of time. However, because they are endophytic, they migrate from the soil into the rhizosphere and become associated with the plant roots. Therefore, they remain viable and active in the rhizosphere throughout the life of the plant.

Yes, BiOWiSH® Crop is safe for use in aquaponics systems. If water quality is an issue for the aquatic life, BiOWiSH® AquaFarm may be used to improve water quality. BiOWiSH® Crop products may be added in drip irrigation or applied separately. If added to the irrigation system, make sure all solutions of BiOWiSH® Crop are applied within 96 hours (4 days) of dissolving BiOWiSH® Crop into the delivery tank.

BiOWiSH® Crop products have a three-year shelf life when stored as directed. Once coated onto fertilizer, BiOWiSH® Crop Liquid and BiOWiSH® Crop Liquid Green Choice coated fertilizers have a one-year shelf life. Once applied, BiOWiSH penetrates the soil, establishes itself within the soil microbiome and plant rhizosphere, and does not wash off with normal rainfall or irrigation.
Due to our proprietary fermentation process, BiOWiSH® Crop products have a broad range of operating conditions, such as up to 3 ppm of chlorine. With that said, high levels of heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, Mercury and Silver will have an adverse effect on BiOWiSH® Crop products. BiOWiSH® Crop products can be applied with your normal fertilization routine. No special application is required.

BiOWiSH® products work across a broad range of temperatures. Optimum performance is achieved when soil temperatures are between 20 and 35oC (68 – 95oF). However, the products will perform at temperatures from 10oC (50oF) up to 60oC (140oF).
There should be no effect of high water levels on BiOWiSH® Crop products. In cases where excess water causes soil erosion, some of the BiOWiSH may erode with the soil. In addition, excess water can cause leaching of available nutrients in some soil types. However, BiOWiSH organisms are endophytes, associating with the plant roots. As long as the root is healthy and intact, BiOWiSH will perform even under excessively high-water levels.
Recommended BiOWiSH® Crop dosages are designed for optimal production for most Farm Management and Fertility programs. High dosage levels will not harm individual crops, but may lead to less than optimal performance. We recommend that label instructions be followed for all applications.
Depending on the source and quality of the water you may notice an ammonia odor when adding BiOWiSH® Crop 16-40-0 to water. This happens when the pH is high enough to cause ammonia volatilization from the diammonium phosphate in the BiOWiSH® Crop 16-40-0 product. There is no negative impact on the BiOWiSH® biology.
Crop Liquid & Crop Liquid Green Choice
BiOWiSH® MultiBio is a unique blend of microorganisms which induce beneficial effects in the dynamic gastrointestinal environment. These products remain effective when exposed to high feed processing temperatures. Questions regarding heat tolerance issues only address the “physical stability” of the organisms and not the true efficacy of the product. While certain levels of heat exposure may have deleterious effects on the “physical stability” of BiOWiSH® organisms, gut colonization and replication is not always a requirement for efficacy. As such, other modes of action, or metabolic factors, are not affected by high processing temperatures which constitute the product efficacy we observe. These factors are produced by BiOWiSH® microorganisms during BiOWiSH’s proprietary fermentation process, and are not affected by exposure to high feed processing temperatures. Therefore, BiOWiSH® MultiBio can be administered with feeds prepared at high temperature conditions.
There is no need to use additional direct fed microbial products with BiOWiSH®. When combined with the appropriate feed, and good management practices, BiOWiSH® optimizes overall production.
BiOWiSH Technologies has determined that a dosing level of 200g of MultiBio 3PS per metric ton of feed produces optimum benefits in poultry, swine and aquaculture. Adding MultiBio 3PS at levels higher than 200g per metric ton of feed can be used, but may not provide as much overall economic benefit.
